Why we even call third molars the “wisdom teeth”? Because these teeth usually begin to grow at age 17 to 25. Sometime even later. In other words, the youthful age comes to an end and there comes a maturity. With maturity appears wisdom.

An appearance of “wisdom teeth" often causes various problems. It happens because during the evolution of a human jaw the volume of our jaws are decreased. On the other side the size of our teeth remain the same. When wisdom teeth are ready to grow, all other teeth "was born" for a long time and has taken the places in the mouth. So, wisdom teeth, quite often, simply does not have places to grow.

The most common symptoms of wisdom teeth problem are pain and swelling. Whether you have obvious symptoms or not, it is important to diagnose existing or potential problems caused by your wisdom teeth. Removal is often the wisest decision for your health and well-being.
